The Moon: Second Highest-Grossing Film in Indonesia

Tangerang-  The space film starring Kim Hee Ae, Doh Kyung so and Sol Kyung gu makes 'The Moon' the first South Korean film to raise the theme of space exploration. The film, which will air on August 2, 2023 in South Korea and August 9, 2023 in Indonesia, presents an experience of exploring outer space with extraordinary visuals. The best director's work Kim Yong Hwa made this film anticipated by the audience.

The film is set in 2029 and tells the story of an astronaut who is stranded in space due to a mission on the moon. Tells the relationship between the three main actors, namely Hwang Sunwoo (Doh Kyung so) an atronot, Kim Jae Guk (Sol Kyung Gu) a former leader of the space center and Kim Hee Ae (Yoon Moon Young) a director of NASA.  Starting from the trailer, still cut to the promotional era shown by the distributor made the audience more interested in following the journey of astronaut Hwang Sunwoo.

Director Kim Yong Hwa managed to combine various genres into one interesting film. It is a science fiction film with adventure, drama, and survival in it. All genres are supported by the acting of the actors and actresses can make the audience successfully drift with various feelings when watching this film.

Not only the three main actors mentioned earlier who starred in the film 'The Moon', there are still many outstanding actress actors joining this film, making this film the most anticipated blockbuster film category. Actors such as Park Byung Eun, Choi Byung Mo actress Hong Seung Hee, as well as special appearances from actors Lee Yi Kyung, Kim Rae Won and veteran actors such as Lee Sung Min.

 Superb Visual Depiction Using CGI

The Moon is a film that takes most of the place on the moon and this film manages to make the audience feel the real appearance as if they were really on the moon. The CGI shown really satisfied the audience by depicting outer space in detail. Highly recommend watching this in IMAX even more so if watching it on 4DX.
