Residents of Laban Bulan Do Eid prayers on Eid al-Fitr 1444H on Tarpaulins

Tangerang - Residents of Laban Bulan performed Eid prayers to welcome Eid al-Fitr 1444H at al-ishlah mosque and around the mosque yard by using tarpaulins and mats to reduce the use of newspapers.

 

The organizing committee for the Eid prayer of the Laban Bulan Mr. Ladiyo in Tangerang, Friday, said "The Eid prayer at the al-ishlah mosque aims to welcome Eid al-Fitr 1444H and strengthen the relationship between residents of the Laban Bulan," said Ladiyo

 

According to Ladiyo, this activity has been routinely carried out every year in the al-ishlah mosque to the courtyard of the al-ishlah mosque. He also said that the committee has prepared a prayer place using tarpaulins and mats as a place to sit and pray so that residents only need to bring prayer mats to pray to reduce the use of newspapers that cause garbage to accumulate after prayer.

 

The provision of tarpaulins as a place of worship is also useful for the committee in saving time after performing ied prayers. They can directly fold the tarpaulin that has been used without having to pick up the existing newspaper waste. So that the committee can go home directly to celebrate Eid al-Fitr with family.

 

The use of tarpaulins and mats is very helpful for residents of the Laban Bulan  in carrying out ied prayers because they only need to bring prayer mats and do not have to bother thinking about places of worship.

 

"Just bring a prayer mat for this prayer, because there is already a place provided, yes with the committee," said one of Laban Bulan residents. 

 

The use of tarpaulins and mats can help in terms of protecting the surrounding environment. So that after the Eid prayer, the mosque environment remains neat and clean following the metaphor of Eid al-Fitr, which is a holy and clean day.
