Learning Logs Journalism Meeting 3

Hello friends, My name is Mewpov. I was born in Tangerang . I am a student of Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang and I majored in English Education. I'm in semester 6 right now. I live in Moch Toha street Pasar Baru Tangerang. I come from a small family of 4 members in one family. I have a sister and I am the youngest in the family. My hobby is listening to music cause I think my voice is very sweet. I listen to a lot of songs from western and kpop. I'm not fixated on genres, I listen to all genres of music. My daily life is a student of the faculty of education. Right now I'm also helping to teach a few children in my place. SUMMARY

            A blog is a website that cats as an online journal, a place to post information, and a wa to keep in touch with others. A blog is a type of website maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. It can also be used for posting assignments and including links to educational websites. Asynchronous online tools such as blogs pla a major parts in many formal distance learning courses, but can also be used on an ongoing basis to facilitate discussion and provide support. Blogging will help students to express themselves and a receptive learning tool, blogging can be used to frame assignments within a theoretical context that encourages students to acquire information and report what they have learned. Learner-centered blogging acknowledges the important attributes of learners as individuals and as a group and can use blogging as a learner-centered instructional tool by giving positive feedback to students on their comments in blog entries and by adding comments to discussion threads involving two or more students. Blogs can be implemented in a variety of ways, such as as communities through tools like Drupal, private classes like with Moodle, public spaces like blogger, or networks like Elgg. They can be used cross discipline or extended beyond classrooms. Blogging helps students express themselves and practice valuable knowledge and skills.

REFLECTION

        Having learned about a news approach of e-learning education using blogging makes me know more about blogs, what kinds of blogs and the features of blogs in e-learning education. I now think blogs has an useful function to help teachers and students in distance learning. Learning to use blogging can encourage students to obtain information by reporting what they have learned. For me, the most important learning of this course is, I know some of the ways that it can be implemented like a community through tools. I have improved my understanding of news approach of e-learning education using blogging that I will use in my class later. Because I have not yet known about this knowledge before, I will now need to learn this knowledge to help me later in a learning process in the classroom. This knowledge is useful to me in the workplace because I can use this as an assignment for students that can help students become disciplined and express themselves in the learning process. Teachers can also provide positive feedback to students in comments on their blog sections. I have develop my understanding of this knowledge where I know this e-learning education is also an activity-centric that can be fun and involve students in the learning process.

LEARNING STRATEGIES

                        Learning strategies are several series of student activities for the learning process in achieving the goals of learning activities. Each person has a different strategy in the learning process that is done. Every time I learn something new, I have different ways to complete a duty done. First, I will make a list that contains which tasks or lessons that I will do. I used to write it in a small post it and then stick it on the study table to make it easy to see. Second, I will do it in the most comfortable place in my opinion the comfortable room is in my bedroom more precisely on the study table. Third, I am very happy to do the learning process accompanied by a quiet music. I have one playlist that I always play if I am doing the learning process where I will feel more excited in doing it. Finally, after learning has been comfortable and enjoyable then I will try to start understanding the task I am working on, such as summarizing what I have to do in an easy understand language. I think it can all help me in doing the learning process to meet the goals of the learning activities that I do.
